As usual, another winner. However, I believe I detected a missing "y" in your Observation of the Week. Not to nitpick, but it piqued my curiosity...

Best to you and the family.

Thanks, Ed, always nice to hear from you. Not a nitpick at all. I hate typos and misspellings. Will try to fix in in the archives.

I particularly like this one! I think of myself as curious but never really thought about the benefits of being that way!

Dr. Mardy, I have a suggestion for you. I love to go back to previous posting of yours when I am lookinmg for something in particular like a certain theme that interests me. For example, this week the theme was "curiosity" How do I find this week's post about curiousity among the thousands of post I save? I think it would be great if each and every post had a keyword or something similar that defines what any post is about. This should show up somewhere visiable in the saved posts. I know it's there, but in my opinion badly placed. I see the theme in the email title, but it should come up first, before the date. Very often the title of the post is quite long and the theme doesn't appear completely or not at all.

Thanks for the suggestion, Carl. Let me give the matter some thought.

I've now added the name of the Theme to all of my previous Substack posts, Carl. I believe this will provide subscribers and new visitors with some helpful information. Thanks again for the suggestion.

It is one thing to be curious; it needs to coupled with the desire to take steps to learn more about what has ignited one's curiosity.

Dr. Marty, I am surprised there is no mention of Albert Einstein explaining his genius when he famously said, "I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious."

Just passionately following your posts of quotes.

Thanks for your kind words about my efforts, Mark. You're right, I should have included that Einstein thought, which he offered in a 1952 letter to Carl Seelig, his biographer. You can see it, and many, many other great curiosity quotations here: https://www.drmardy.com/dmdmq/c#curiosity

Oops, sorry for misspelling your name. Must be one of those senior moments. I looked at my archives. I've been following you for 21 years now, since 2003. How time flies. Regards, Mark. (It's an "old" picture of me, but it makes me feel young)
