I have not noticed this before, but in this weeks' Puzzeler you may have just as easily said, "Who is this person? (Answer" above), as you gave her credit in sighting the quote from meditations. Otherwise, I couldn't have guessed to save me.

Thanks, Paul. Including the Puzzler author's name in that image was a major boo-boo on my part. My loyal and trusted proofreader was ill and therefor unavailable to help me this week--and I paid a price for not enlisting the help of someone else.

Caught it just now too! 😉

Another great installment Dr. Mardy. And I love the new and improved format. Perhaps the adversity of the unplanned end of the previous service provider was a blessing to create this new space.

I feel that adversity is a private matter most of the time. I can see how it has served me along my journey. I'm curious about your thoughts on people publicly sharing adversity for what appears to be the purpose of self-promotion.

Thanks, Jerry, it truly was a blessing in disguise.

I have a one-word answer to your question: shameless.

More and more, you're putting quotes in the form of an image with the book case background. I have always obsessively copied and pasted the quotes into my personal files. You're making that much more difficult with images that cannot be copied and pasted.

Hi Greg. Thanks for your comment. This does not have to be a problem. All the quotes in the newsletter are available in "Dr. Mardy's Dictionary of Metaphorical Quotations," my massive online database of more that 50,000 sourced and authenticated quotes. Simply go to: https://www.drmardy.com/dmdmq/

By going to my DMDMQ, you can easily copy and paste any quotations that are of interest to you.

One more thought, Greg. You can also use the site's Search function by putting a key phrase in quotation marks. For example by putting “nobility shines” in the Search box, you will be taken to the “A” section. Then by doing a page search for the word “nobility” you will go directly to every appearance of the word in the entire section, including the Aristotle quotation that originally appeared in an image in this week's newsletter.
